Colombian family brand L.A. Cano has collaborated with native artisans to produce beautifully handmade jewelry for over 100 years. The Cano family's longstanding patronage of the Museum of the Gold of Santa Fé de Bogotà enabled the company to use precious original moulds from pre-Columbian civilizations. Each piece is realized in tumbaga, a pre-Columbian alloy. Like the ancient indios goldsmiths, L.A. Cano artisans see their work as a way of connecting with the divine.
