Artisans at the Lao Disabled Women's Development Center collect old newspapers from around Ventiane, Laos and use an innovative process to wrap the paper into coils and sew the coils together to create this one-of-a-kind handmade hotplate. In addition to its distinctive design and amazing backstory, it is practical addition to any tabletop.
