This stunning silk Kishuthara textile was handwoven by artisans at the Leki Weaving Studio in Bhutan. The complex design originates from the Khoma village and is renowned as one of the most difficult patterns to create on a loom. This textile showcases traditional symbology with a motif called "edges like monkey nails." The sophisticated interplay of white, red, and blue threads represents the best of Bhutanese weaving techniques. She encourages her guests to tour the studio so they can learn about traditional Bhutanese weaving techniques and observe the weavers as they work.
